Last Friday, June 24th, members of the PCMI Chicago team brought their best baking skills to the table by participating in the “PCMI 2nd Annual Cookie Bake-Off.” The office was buzzing building up to the bake-off, with many team members claiming their creations to be the best. At 10am, everyone tasted, voted for their favorite, and the winners were crowned. With a total of 14 different entries, it was a close call!
Congratulations to Karl Miller (Business Analyst), the big winner with his tasty s’mores bear claw cookies that won the office over. Not too far behind in votes was Anne Marie Pasternock (Software Sales Support Representative) who placed second with her sugar cookies decorated with “PCMI” and blue candy bits. Kelsey Maton (Graphic Designer Intern) earned the third place spot with her coconut chocolate chip cookie bars. Karl received a Starbucks gift card for his top-notch baking and Anne Marie and Kelsey walked away with bragging rights!
The cookie bake-off was completed with a visit from the Cookie Monster, who awarded Karl with his gift card, took pictures with multiple employees, and even startled some of the team who wasn’t expecting him. It was a very exciting and unforgettable day in the office, as Anne Marie Pasternock stated, “My favorite part was having the Cookie Monster visit the PCMI office, it really made the cookie bake-off a memorable event.”
